At Koala Labs, your ultrasound scan will be performed personally by John D. Stephens, M.D., FACOG(USA), FRCOG(UK). Dr. Stephens is a Board Certified Obstetrician (Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology). His medical training in England is also recognized by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists ("OBGYN"). In 1986, he was elected to be a Fellow. He is a licensed physician in all clinic locations. Dr. Stephen's is also a California Accredited MD Sonlogist for providing Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound (NT).
For 26 years, he has been specializing in diagnosing the health and sex/gender of unborn babies. He has extensive knowledge in the field of prenatal diagnosis, especially in the area of ultrasound.
Dr. Stephens received his medical training in Australia and England and his medical genetics training in the United States. Ultimately, he specialized in obstetrical genetics after undertaking three years of fellowship training at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco. From a background of having been an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist, his practice is now dedicated to obstetrical ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis.
